A residents group will hold a public meeting on the future of Barnet’s libraries.
The Mill Hill Residents Association is inviting people to find out more about proposed library closures across the borough on Wednesday, January 14.
Barnet Borough Council needs to make £72m worth of cuts in the next 20 years, and has proposed closing some libraries, making them smaller or staffing them with volunteers.
Mill Hill library is among those facing closure.
This Saturday, December 13, the group will also run a stall outside Mill Hill Broadway station to advertise their campaign.
The meeting on January 14 will be held at Hartley Hall, in Mill Hill, at 7pm.
