A science technician has been named one of the ‘best in Britain’ at an awards ceremony.
Usha Khamar, the senior science technician at the Compton School, in Summers Lane, Finchley, was presented with the National Award for Science Technicians at the Salters Institute in London by Lord Sainsbury.
The award recognises her contributions to extra-curricular science activities at the school, and her dedication to training other science technicians across London.
