A family is celebrating after they received an unexpected gift on New Year’s Day.
Hudson Ferrari-Jackson was born at Barnet Hospital, in Wellhouse Lane, Barnet, to parents Lynsey Jackson and Robbie Ferrari on New Year's Day at 11.30am. He weighed 5lb 11oz.
His grandmother Michelle Payne, who lives in Dugdale Lane, Potters Bar, with Hudson’s mother, said: “It feels absolutely fantastic, we’re really pleased. He’s just wonderful. It was an amazing New Year’s Day present. He was due on January 13, so it was a lovely welcome into 2015.
“I joked he would come on New Year’s Eve, so I wouldn't be able to party, and he ended up coming early. It’s a nice little surprise.”
Hudson’s family chose his name after getting inspiration from Victoria and David Beckham’s son, Brooklyn.
Ms Payne added: “We wanted it to be something a bit unusual.”
