A charity has opened a refurbished centre for disabled people in Barnet.

Sense, the national charity for deafblind people, opened the renamed TouchBase South East, in Hyde Close, Barnet last week.

Formerly known as the Anne Wall Centre, its facilities include a pool, kitchens, a music suite and an allotment.

Gillian Morbey, CEO of Sense, said: “This new centre means that we can offer our specialist support and accessible facilities to even more people with complex needs.”
