An appeal has been launched after a car was stolen from a car dealership.

The Metropolitan Police is investigating after two men drove off with a silver Honda Civic from Japanese Trade Centre, in Harmony Way, Hendon, shortly after 5pm yesterday.

The men had been given the keys to listen to the car engine, but drove out of the showroom instead.

Staff are appealing for any information that will help them find the car, and are willing to offer a reward.

The registration number is EJ07 ZVT.

Ron Tilla, who has worked at the car dealership for 20 years, said: “We are still all in shock. It’s the first time it has happened. My manager thought they were just messing about, but they did not return.

“I want to catch the culprits, as these people need to be stopped. Luckily no one was hurt.”

Anyone with information is urged to call Mr Tilla on 07956514614, or call the police on 101.
