Two pensioners were taken to hospital after an elderly woman was hit by a minibus in Golders Green.
The incident happened at the junction of West Heath Drive and North End Road this afternoon.
London Fire Brigade was called to the scene at 4.05pm to reports of a collision between a minibus and an 94-year-old woman.
London Ambulance Service attended, and took the woman and a 93-year-old man to a central London hospital with serious injuries.
The man received treatment for minor injuries. The woman remains in hospital in a critical condition.
The vehicle stopped at the scene and road closures remain in place.
Eyewitness Gino Scalzo said: “I am a driving instructor and I have seen many accidents, but this was horrible.”
No arrests have been made and inquiries continue. Officers from Barnet Police are on the scene.
North End Road is currently closed both ways, and there is traffic congestion to Hampstead station.
