A college principal has embarked on a mammoth motorbike ride across Zambia after raising more than £5,000 for charity.
David Byrne, principal at Barnet and Southgate College, will travel more than 1,000km across the Zambian bush to raise money for Riders for Health.
The charity provides health workers in African with vehicles to provide healthcare in rural communities.
Mr Byrne said: “Mobile motorcycle health workers have become a lifeline delivering regular healthcare to African villagers and it's great to be able to support this fantastic cause in a small way. I am very proud of the way our students and staff have supported my charity fundraising efforts.”
