A military parade and a flag-raising ceremony will mark Armed Forces Day this weekend.
Army reservists, cadets and ex-servicemen and women will gather outside Hendon Town Hall, in The Burroughs, this Sunday at 9.50am.
Mayor of Barnet Councillor Mark Shooter will also raise the flag outside the town hall in The Burroughs.
Other Barnet MPs and Barnet’s Deputy Lieutenant, Martin Russell, will also attend.
Road closures and diversions will be in place. Those wishing to attend should arrive at 9.30am.
Cllr Shooter said: “Armed Forces Day gives us all a chance to publically acknowledge the huge contribution made by servicemen and women past and present.
“We owe them a tremendous debt of gratitude and I would like to encourage as many people as possible to come along on Sunday to show their support.”
