A Borehamwood company has helped a children’s charity grant a 12 year-old’s greatest wish.
The film finance company Red Rock Entertainment, of Shenley Road, Borehamwood, helped Rays of Sunshine arrange for a seriously ill child to meet his idol, Olly Murs.
As the charity’s corporate partner, Red Rock Entertainment supports Rays of Sunshine by sponsoring wishes and enabling children to take part in exclusive behind the scenes experiences within the film industry.
Music lover Dominic, from Leeds, has Morquio Disease, and his condition requires enzyme replacement every week.
Red Rock Entertainment arranged the exclusive meeting of Dominic and Olly, which took place at the Grosvenor Hotel, London Victoria, where Olly spent time chatting to all of the children and posing for photos.
The Rays of Sunshine ambassador, Olly Murs commented: “It was an absolute pleasure to meet such an amazing bunch of kids with Rays of Sunshine. They all had such enthusiasm and it was an absolute pleasure to spend time with them. I love being an ambassador for Rays of Sunshine – they do incredible work putting smiles on the faces of children just like Dominic and I hope to be involved for many years to come.”
