A FORMER football chairman told teenagers about life in the business when he visited their school.
David Dein, former vice-chairman of Arsenal Football Club and the Football Association, visited Whitefield School, in Claremont Road, Cricklewood.
The sixth form students gathered in awe as Mr Dein began his speech with controversial football jokes about rival teams.
He discussed how to motivate millionaires and the importance of good time keeping.
Mr Dein is akeen promoter of women’s football and also spoke passionately about his support for the game, and encouraged girls not to give up.
After the presentation, the group took a ‘selfie’ with Mr Dein, one of football’s most influential figures.
