A COLINDALE man has been charged with attempted murder after a man was allegedly pushed in front of a train.
Devindra Ferguson, of Parklea Close, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court today (December 4), following the incident on Wednesday (December 2) at Kentish Town Tube station.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at Blackfriars Crown Court on Wednesday, December 16.
The 29-year-old handed himself in at a police station on Wednesday.
British Transport Police previously said it received reports the man may have been pushed, and was left seriously injured.
Detective Superintendent Gary Richardson of British Transport Police said: “Devindra Ferguson, 29, of Parklea Close, Colindale, London, appeared before Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court today (Friday 4 December).
“Mr Ferguson was charged with attempted murder following an incident on Wednesday, 2 December, at Kentish Town London Underground station.
“He has been remanded into custody and will appear before Blackfriars Crown Court on Wednesday, 16 December.”
