A serious crash in East Finchley has closed part of the A406 North Circular Road.
Traffic is queuing and motorists are being warned to expect long delays after a serious crash on the A406 between A1000 High Road and A1 Falloden Way/Tillingbourne Gardens (Henly's Corner).
The westbound carriageways have been closed and congestion is backed up to B106 Brownlow Road/Powys Lane.
Diversions via High Road are in place, which is causing delays throughout North Finchley and Friern Barnet areas.
Drivers are advised to seek other routes where possible.
The closures are expected to remain in place for some time.
