FINCHLEY’s Golf Club has received a special dedication from one of the sports ‘most successful Ryder Cup captain.
The club hosted the 10th annual James Braid Trophy tournament, played in Frith Lane, Mill Hill, on Wednesday August 24.
It was first organised as part of the club’s 75th anniversary.
English golfer Tony Jacklin CBE, sent a message of good to the club, will which was included in this year’s brochure which is given to all competitors.
The Trophy was won by Hartsbourne, represented by Stephen Flash, Ian Haring, Brian Buckman and Jeffery Alper.
The event saw teams from Mill Hill, Potters Bar, North Middlesex, and many more, compete for first place.
