An investigation has been launched after two men were taken to hospital after suffering from stab injuries.

Police were called to High Street, outside the Masons Arms Pub in Edgware on Sunday November 6, following reports of a stabbing.

Officers found two men, aged 19 and 20-years-old, suffering from slash and stab injuries to their abdomens.

Both were taken to north London hospitals for treatment and have since been discharged.

The attack took place between 01:15am and 01:40am.

This incident is being treated as GBH, and Harrow CID are investigating.

Both men were attacked by a single male suspect who is described as white Romanian male, medium build and average height, wearing dark jacket and jeans.

Investigating officer DC Thomas Dean said: "This was a nasty attack which appears to have started over little more than a petty argument and some pushing and shoving.

"Lots of motorists drove past the scene during the attack and I would urge anyone who witnessed this incident to contact police."
