The Queen’s former corsetiere is set to spill all at a charity dinner this month.

June Kenton, previous owner of Rigby and Peller, a luxury lingerie brand, will be attending the NSPCC Elstree and Borehamwood District Committee’s annual fundraising lunch.

The event on Wednesday, 28 June will see Mrs Kenton signing her memoir ‘Storm in a D-Cup’ which is due to be published later this year.

A three-course lunch with wine is also included for attendees at the London Shenley Cricket Club, Radlett Lane as they listen to the former bra-fitter get things off her chest.

The book details the entrepreneur’s meteoric rise, from learning the trade at Berlie Corsetry School in London to fitting for royalty and celebrities such as Kim Kardashian.

Mrs Kenton said: “I’m delighted to have been invited to speak at this lunch in such wonderful surroundings and for a fantastic cause.

“I always enjoy sharing stories from my career to a new audience and it’s all the better when it will help raise money for the vital services provided by the NSPCC.”

Last year the charity spoke to more than 35,000 primary school children at 155 schools in the county as part of its Speak Out Stay Safe service which teaches children about abuse and how to report it.

Chair of the NSPCC Elstree and Borehamwood Committee, Ann Goddard, said: “We have been spoilt to have the company of June Kenton at this year’s lunch and hopefully rain won’t stop play in the cricket on the day.

“I would like to thanks London Shenley Cricket Club for hosting us again and am sure guests will be treated to fabulous food and company.

“Hopefully we can beat the record amount raised at last year’s event so that the NSPCC can help more young people in Hertfordshire with services such as Speak Out Stay safe and Childline.”

Tickets cost £35 and are available until Wednesday, June 21.
