An 18-year-old was threatened and a shot fired while he was driving in Southgate.
The victim was driving on the A404 at Bounds Green on June 25 when another vehicle attempted to block his car while at traffic lights near the BP garage.
The 18-year-old's black Vauxhall Astra was followed by the suspect, and both cars stopped in Shakespeare Avenue.
Two men approached the victim and threatened him with a gun, forcing him to hand over cash, after which a shot was fired which grazed the victim's neck.
He did not need to attend hospital but was attended by the London Ambulance Service.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on June 27 on suspicion of a firearm with intent to endanger life, but he was released pending enquiries.
