An MP has joined others in Parliament to "wearing it pink" for breast cancer.
Mike Freer, MP for Finchley and Golders Green, is supporting Breast Cancer Now's "Wear it Pink" campaign to encourage people to ditch their usual work clothes and opt for pink, while raising funds through raffles, cake sales and sponsorship.
Mr Freer said: "Wear it Pink is a fun and simple way for everyone to get involved in raising awareness and money for Breast Cancer Now’s cutting edge research.
"It has become a bit of an institution in Parliament and I am always pleased to lend my support to this great cause."
Mr Freer has supported breast cancer causes through his taking part in the MoonWalk earlier this year, raising £5,275, and in his campaigning for a permanent breast screening unit in Finchley Memorial Hospital.
