A business school is aiming to start more than 100 new business in Barnet during their autumn tour.

PopUp Business School will be giving workshops in Brent Cross Shopping Centre to teach aspiring entrepreneurs how to start their own business, in an event sponsored by Barnet Council, Barnet and Southgate College and Metropolitan Housing.

Since 2011 the business school has travelled around the UK holding workshops and giving alternative advice to the norm in putting away with business plans, financial projections and loans.

Co-founder Simon Paine said: "Business shouldn’t be an exclusive club for those people with cash or who know how to write a business plan. I want to make it possible for everyone – that’s why we developed our approach."

The two-week workshop kicks off on November 6 at Brent Cross, teaching Barnet business minds who to start up without any money, make a website without technical skills and how to generate sales from social media.
