Hackers are trying to destroy iPhones, iPads and Macs with a devastating “text bomb”.

The malicious bug works by causing Apple devices to crash.

It is sent through the Messages app and goes through to a Github page, which seems to exploit a bug that creates a long tag.

Then, it deletes all your messages and affects any device running ios and Mac OS software.

There is currently no fix for the issue, dubbed ChaiOS hack.

The only way to fix the issue appears to be to exit the Messages app then delete the entire conversation containing the link.
