A fire completely destroyed the roof of a house in East Barnet last night.
The blaze started at 3.20am in the two-storey detached home in Cat Hill.
Fire crews from Barnet and Southgate, and the aerial ladder platform from Tottenham spent more than an hour tackling the blaze.
The flames completely destroyed the roof, but all four people who were in the house managed to escape safely before the fire brigade arrived.
A fire service spokesman said the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
