Children aged nine to 15 are performing in this year’s Snow White Christmas panto at Harrow Arts Centre in the roles of the Seven Dwarfs and other characters for the first time.

The 12 youngsters from Harrow’s Barefoot School of Performing Arts were chosen by Immersion theatre company following an audition.

They play six characters as well as dance to choreographed routines for musical numbers.

“Our young students are playing important characters for the first time, not just dancing,” Barefoot School’s principal Rachel Johns explained. “This is the sixth year we have been selected to be part of this professional pantomime.”

The Snow White panto with its dazzling costumes and dance routines has bags of audience interaction — maybe even the odd water gun or two!

It runs nightly till December 28 at the arts centre in Uxbridge Road, Hatch End, tickets cost £17 and £20 (£68 family or group), from the box office on 020-3773 7161 or the harrowarts.com website.
