A woman has died after reports that an elderly person had fallen “unwell” in a Barnet high street.
Emergency services were called to Church Hill Road in East Barnet Village shortly before 1pm this afternoon (May 7).
There had been reports of a woman - believed to be aged in her 80s - who was unwell in or around a café.
Paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS) arrived within four minutes.
A LAS spokesperson has now confirmed that the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ambulance crews, an advance paramedic and an incident response officer all attended the scene. Police cars were also seen responding to the incident.
