Call out: fire crews from Mill Hill, Hendon and Harrow attended the blaze in Edgware this morning
A WOMAN was rescued by firefighters from her burning home in Edgware this morning.
Three fire crews attended the blaze in Langham Gardens at about 5am.
One of the 15 firefighters in attendance scaled ladders to rescue to woman from the first floor of the two storey house.
Part of the upstairs was damaged by the flames and the crews from Mill Hill, Hendon and Harrow fire stations had the fire under control within half an hour.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
