A CENTRE for children with cerebral palsy has raised more than £30,000 after running the London Marathon last Sunday.
A team of 14 runners from the Bobath Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy, in East End Road, East Finchley, took on the challenge to help keep the charity afloat.
Fundraising manager Kevin Gillespie said: “Most small charities are beginning to struggle in the recession so events like the marathon are more important to us than ever.”
Anyone wishing to support the charity should contact Mr Gillespie on 020 444 3355.
