POLICE have issued an urgent appeal to find a teenager who has been missing for almost two weeks.

Fifteen-year-old Rifa Nsiyakala disappeared after leaving her home in Woking on Saturday, April 17.

Police officers believe she is in Barnet or Brent, and have appealed for information on her whereabouts.

The teenager was reported missing by her mother last weekend, and police have stepped up their search since Rifa failed to show up for a meeting with her twin sister on Tuesday.

PC Fiona Black, from Surrey Police missing persons unit, said: “We are becoming more concerned for Rifa's welfare as time goes on, particularly as she has not maintained contact with her twin sister.

“I would particularly ask anyone who might know of any haunts where Rifa might go in the north London area to contact Surrey Police as soon as possible.”

Rifa is black, 5ft 5in tall, slimly built, and has brown shoulder-length hair with black and pink dyed stripes running through it.
