FUNDRAISERS got into the swing and raised nearly £7,000 at a charity golf day in Potters Bar on Friday.
The event at Potters Bar Golf Club, in Darkes Lane, was organised by Steve Rosebaum and his mother Linda Silver, the Mayor of Hertsmere, who chose the charity in memory of her late father, a colonel in the Royal Engineers.
Councillor Silver said: "The day was wonderful and I am so grateful to those who donated items to auction and to all those who took part. We raised a fantastic amount of money which is going to such a worthwhile cause."
