It’s a pity you failed to publish our call for farmers to warn passers-by of possible animal attacks (‘Butted and bruised’ Times Series, September 2).
Just as animal parks warn visitors not to touch the animals in case they bite, we would like farmers to be legally obliged to post signs telling walkers to be careful when crossing a field of cows as they might attack.
