Three karate experts from Japan came to Barnet last week to teach their style of the martial art to students.
Katsutoshi Ishihara came to the borough with two of his assistants to teach pupils of the White Crane Karate School.
They taught in the Barnet, Finchley and Mill Hill branches of the school and by the end of the week five junior members had passed their Black Belt tests.
