A Mill Hill primary school raised money for charity as part of their summer sports day today.
Goodwyn School, in Hammers Lane, sold balloons to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
All the balloons were then released at once during the sports day which took place at the Copthall Stadium.
It is hoped that the event will have raised £500 for the charity which supports teenagers with cancer.
George, age nine, said: "I think it is really good we are raising money for charity. Cancer is an awful disease so it is really good to help them."
The charity was chosen as the school's bursar, Glynis Hobden, has a friend who's daughter died of cancer.
Mrs Hobden said: "I am passionate about the charity. It is a really great cause and the kids are really excited."
Sophie, age nine, said: "It is a really fun day. We get to watch all the races."
