Pupils planted snowdrops today to commemorate children who lost their lives in the Holocaust.
Colindale Primary School was joined by the Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Brian Schama, in the annual Snowdrop Project.
Together they planted the white flowers in the school grounds in Clovelly Avenue.
The project was set up by Barnet Borough Council in an attempt to plant a snowdrop in memory of every one of the 1.5million children who died in the Holocaust.
Cllr Schama said: “I hope this project strengthens our belief in the importance of living together in harmony, whilst keeping alive the memory of those lost children.”
This year 2,000 bulbs have been planted, taking the total number to 35,000.
