People in Hendon will be able to debate the Mayor of London’s strategy for reducing crime in the capital.
The deputy mayor for policing and crime, Stephen Greenhalgh, will host a public meeting at Hendon Town Hall in The Burroughs at 6pm on Monday, January 14.
Mr Greenhalgh will talk about the draft police and crime plan, which aims to boost neighbourhood policing with 2,000 extra officers and introduce better ways for the public to access police and report crime.
The plan also sets out targets for the Met Police to improve public confidence, drive down costs and cut neighbourhood crimes by 20 per cent over the next four years.
