A popular make up firm will open a new factory in the heart of Mill Hill and create 100 new jobs.

Inglis Consortium LLP has secured a deal with Barry M Cosmetics, which is currently based in Millbrook Part, Mill Hill.

The new factory will be opened in Bittacy Hill, a short distance from its head office.

There are already 2,174 jobs earmarked for the site, close to Millbrook Park C of E Primary School, which was officially opened in September 2014.

Dean Mero, managing director of Barry M Cosmetics, said: “As Britain’s leading colour cosmetics brand, based locally for over 25 years, Barry M is delighted to have secured this development site adjacent to our existing headquarters.

“Millbrook Park is a major new development and we are very pleased to be one of its first significant commercial supporters. Once our new facility is complete, we also look forward to bringing more employment opportunities to the area.”

Barry M Cosmetics is now preparing a planning application for 30,000sq fr building.

A statement from Inglis Consortium said: “We are delighted to have completed the sale of the first phase of employment land at Millbrook Park to Barry M Cosmetics, a business with an established presence in Mill Hill.

“The sale is another landmark for the development, which is on track to deliver an outstanding range of new homes and commercial units in this sought after area of north London.”
