THE funeral for a teenager who lost her battle against a rare immune system disorder will be on Friday, June 3.
Cira Sale will be laid to rest at St Pancras & Islington Cemetery, with the service starting at 2pm, before a celebration of her life is held at the York Arms, in Oakleigh Road North, Whetstone, from 4pm.
The 17-year-old former East Barnet School student was diagnosed with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis and had been in hospital recovering from a bone marrow transplant when she died from a lung infection.
All are welcome to attend the funeral, with Cira's parents Dawn and Dave asking people to dress however they feel comfortable and to make a donation to www.gofundme.com/cirasale
