Three men have appeared in court charged with two burglaries that took place in Mill Hill on Saturday.
The men were arrested at the scene of one of the alleged crimes in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Comrun Haghighi, 33, of Burnt Oak Broadway, Edgware, Quomars Haghighi, 29, of Brookfield Avenue, Mill Hill, and a 17-year-old boy from Mill Hill, appeared before Hendon Magistrates' Court on Monday morning.
Acting detective chief inspector Julie Bidewell said: "The continued efforts in targeting known burglars, by Barnet police, is contributing to a reduction in recent weeks in the number of burglaries occurring in Barnet borough.
"And in conjunction with repeated crime prevention advice by all the borough's officers we are sending the message, 'Barnet homes are not easy and Barnet Police will catch you.' "Alongside the advanced technology we are now utilising Smartwater - permanent property marking on personal belongings; together we are all making Barnet Safer."
