I am the chairman of Mill Hill Village Sports Club and have been involved with local football and cricket for more than 40 years.
Local sports facilities have deteriorated over the past 20 years, resulting in many of our youngsters no longer participating, but using their energies getting up to things which are not as healthy or honourable.
We now have an opportunity through Saracens to reverse this trend.
What the club is proposing will benefit not only the youngsters, but the whole community. So please, anyone with doubts about this proposal, take on board my recommendation: it’s too good an offer to miss.
