I was shocked to discover our one-hour parking permits have gone up by 300 per cent and want Barnet Council to explain how it can justify such an increase in these tough economic times?

It costs more to park outside my house for an hour, than it does in Westminster, on our high street, or in Hampstead.

I am in Zone H Barnet and our restrictions are between 11am and 12pm.

The £4 per hour charge is truly excessive and outrageous and I am being ripped off.

Our household salary has not increased 300 per cent; pensions have not increased, so how does it justify this increase? Will there be a review?
