Mark Robson admits Barnet are looking to bring in “one or two more players of real quality” to help strengthen a Bees squad.

After 12 League Two games without a victory, the Bees recorded a 4-0 win against Northampton Town last Friday.

The Bees then travelled to Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday and returned with a point after a goalless draw.

Barnet struggled to create any clear chances against the Chairboys and Robson confirmed he is hopeful of adding to his side’s attacking threat.

He said: “We still want to strengthen and we want to bring in one or two more players of real quality to really strengthen the squad and give us other options across the pitch. Hopefully we will do that in the next few weeks.”

When asked what positions Robson would like to bolster, he replied: “We will look to strengthen in the areas we need to.

“I don’t want to give too much away but I think maybe in the wider areas. “We brought Mark Byrne on (against Wycombe) who has played wide right in the past but we obviously want a little bit more speed and a bit more of a threat out wide.

“So we will possibly look in that area but we are always on the lookout for quality players, no matter what position because we still need to strengthen the squad.”
