Hendon picked up a vital 2-1 win at Thurrock last night to boost their Ryman Premier survival hopes.
It did not start well for struggling Hendon as they fell behind when Jack Paxman scored for Thurrock.
Howard Hall equalised for the visitors in the second half and Hendon left it late to net the winner through Darren Currie from the penalty spot after a handball.
