Hendon secured their third Herts/Middlesex League Two win of the season as they recorded a 29-10 home victory against Chess Valley.
The visitors opened up an early lead as a penalty was successfully converted but the lead was short-lived as Mike Jones went through to score and convert the extra points.
The two sides then exchanged scores. Chess Valley’s was converted while their opponents’ was missed.
Jones then went over for a second time and added the extras to put Hendon 19-10 in front at the interval.
Hendon dominated the second period with Lee Linale leading the attack. He was the architect for another try for the hosts as he off-loaded to Jamie Connolly, who went over in the corner.
Chess Valley produced a spirited response but solid Hendon defence kept them from scoring and Jones grabbed a third try late on to secure the bonus point.
