London Broncos suffered their third straight Super League defeat as they were beaten 25-12 at Bradford Bulls but head coach Tony Rea praised an "outrageously gutsy performance" from his side.

The visitors fell behind when Luke Gale grabbed the opener and that was followed by a try from Adam Sidlow.

Broncos then suffered a double injury blow as Nesiasi Mataitonga was forced off and then Mason Caton-Brown had to be helped off the pitch following lengthy treatment.

Rea’s side managed to reduce the deficit as Thomas Minns crossed and the score was 12-6 at the interval.

Bradford added a third try in the second period but Broncos again responded through James Cunningham.

Gale then landed a drop goal before Tom Olbison touched down. Jamie Foster kicked his fourth conversion of the afternoon to round off the victory.

"It was an outrageously gutsy performance, given where we are at," Rea told the club website. "Plenty of teams would have got beaten by 50 out there today.

"We had no subs left, lost three outside backs and had four injuries during the first half, so it was a big ask and a huge challenge in adversity.

"It was great to still be in it at the back end of the game and at one point I thought we were going to get the job done."
