Luisma Villa struck twice to send Barnet eight points clear the top of the Conference on Tuesday evening, with a 3-0 win over Braintree Town at The Hive.
The Spaniard crashed home two sumptuous strikes from the edge of the area to put the Bees 2-0 ahead at half-time.
Barnet were good value for their lead, with the visiting Iron only able to stretch goalkeeper Graham Stack on one occasion in the first half, with Sean Marks dismissed for an elbow on Bondz N'Gala.
Luke Gambin then grabbed the third after coming on as a substitute to secure a comfortable victory for Martin Allen's Bees.
