Barnet claimed the bragging rights at Boreham Wood to take over at the top of the National League table.

Ade Oluwo's header proved the difference between the sides at Meadow Park, as Dean Brennan's men bagged the points to move into pole position.

Lee Ndlovu dragged an early shot wide for the hosts, before Laurie Walker produced an excellent save with his feet on 11 minutes.

Zak Brunt then fired goalwards from the edge of the box, with Nathan Ashmore making a save low down, and Ben Wynter had an effort deflected out for a throw-in close to the corner flag.

Ashmore produced a fine fingertip save to deny Dale Gorman on 16 minutes, with Brunt firing just wide moments later.

And Ashmore was called upon again to save from Nicke Kabamba on 35 minutes, before Gorman shot wide for Bees.

Pritchard was booked early in the second half, with Oluwo shown a yellow card as well soon after.

And Walker had to make a great save at the feet of a home attacker to keep the scores level on 56 minutes.

Ashmore denied Danny Collinge on the hour at the expense of a corner, with Pritchard firing over from distance on 63 minutes.

Kabamba made way for Callum Stead midway through the half in the first change for Brennan's side, with Gorman replaced by Idris Kanu in the second 14 minutes from time.

And Bees claimed their winner moments later through Oluwo, whose powerful header from a corner found the home net.
