Gymnastics at Goodwyn School, Mill Hill, continues to go from strength to strength.
The highlight of the year was the success at the National Gymnastics finals in Stoke.
The star performers were Sean Saniinejad and James Karageorgis, both 11. They represented the London region and achieved second place and a silver medal in the National Schools pairs competition.
The duo had to perform a sequence which needed to include balances and individual moves to music, which was the Dam Busters march. They were only beaten into second place by 0.05 of a mark.
A team from Goodwyn also represented the London region in the floor and vault finals. Jamie Samuels, Benjamin Shuker and Niall Logue, also 11, teamed up with Sean and James to finish fourth, only beaten to the bronze by 0.45 of a mark.
James was also the highest individual scorer in the whole of the boys competition.
