Barnet lost at home for the first time since the start of the season as they exited the FA Cup to Accrington Stanley, tonight.

Bobby Grant scored the only goal of this scrappy contest on 16 minutes, when he struck unmarked from ten yards out.

The Bees pressed hard for an equaliser but chances were few and far between on this windy and rainy night at Underhill.

Strikers John O'Flynn and Paul Furlong were quiet throughout.

Bees keeper Jake Cole kept his side in this tie in the second half, saving well in one-on-one situations against Michael Symes and Andrew Proctor.

Stanley could have had more against a patched-up Barnet defence, but for wasteful finishing in front of goal.

Stanley scooped £27,000 prize money and now have a winnable tie against League One Gillingham in round three of the world's oldest cup competition.

The Bees earned this replay after they escaped the reverse leg with a 2-2 draw, twice coming from behind against a 10 man Stanley side smarting for revenge tonight. And they had it.

Five minutes in, Bees keeper Jake Cole saved low at full stretch Bobby Grant's low shot after the Stanley man rushed on to a hopeful high ball.

In a scrappy first half, Stanley started the stronger and took the lead on 16 minutes when from a throw-in the ball fell to Grant, unmarked inside the area.

He fired low into the corner from ten yards after Luke Joyce and Billy Kee's efforts had been blocked.

The Bees started to make an impression on the contest after that. O'Flynn passed his shot into keeper Dean Bouzanis's arms on 27 minutes when he was put into a great position by a through-ball.

Stanley got pushed back by Barnet as the half progressed. Still the hosts threatened only rarely and were most dangerous at set-pieces.

And Stanley could even have stung the Bees again on the stroke of half time. James Ryan went so close to doubling the visitors' lead, but his half volley from dead centre on the edge of the box hit the post with keeper Cole a spectator.

Bolasie might have levelled with almost the last kick of the half when he slid in at the post, but was just too late.

The second half followed the pattern of the first under swirling wind and rain. Stanley defender Darren Kempson tested Cole with a giant hoof from inside his own half on 53 minutes. Barnet strung together a few passes as Bolashie tussled and twisted for a way through the Stanley line.

He won a free-kick on the hour mark, and from a subsequent corner by Jarret, substitute Dean Sinclair almost made an instant impact with his head but directed the header just over.

Bees boss Ian Hendon threw on Jake Hyde with 25 minutes to go in search of a goal.

Stanley still threatened and Cole saved well against Michael Symes when he went through one-on-one after dithering in defence by the hosts.

He did the same against Andrew Proctor later on.

It would have been more but for Cole's efforts and Sean McConville being offside when he netted on 88 minutes.

Attendance: 1,288, including 89 Stanley fans.
