Potters Bar lost to Sawbridgeworth at the semi-final stage of the Herts County Cup despite opening batsmen James Kettleborough scoring a century.
Chasing down 260 runs in 50 overs, Potters Bar were always going to find it tough but they got off to the best possible start with Kettleborough smashing 129 runs from 118 balls.
His brilliant innings was constructed by 16 boundaries, including two sixes. However, none of his team mates could match his skill with 20 runs the second highest score as they were bowled all out for 252, 27 runs short of Sawbridgeworth’s total.
