Youngster Jamie George believes Saracens is the ideal place for him to realise his potential after he made his first start of the season against Exeter Chiefs last Sunday.

George endured a tough initiation against a physical Exeter side as Saracens lost 14-12.

The 21-year-old though is positive about the season ahead and is hoping for more game time in the near future.

He said: "I hope I'll get more opportunities in the next few matches.

"Obviously having good players around me makes it tough for the coaches to pick the teams and push the rotation but I've been told I'm going to play a lot more this season which I'm really happy with.

"My main focus is obviously that I need to play well so when I get the opportunities I need to take them."

George is focused on improving his game and claims the club philosophy at Saracens will help him do that.

"They always say here it’s about the club and solely about the players," he explained.

"They believe if you're happy off the field you're going to be better on the field and I think that's right."

Up next for George and Saracens is a tough away trip to Harlequins on Sunday.
