Barnet were made to work for all three points on Saturday as they overcame play-off hopefuls Woking 2-1 at The Hive.
The win is Barnet's first over the Cards since 2002 and saw Martin Allen's side maintain their seven-point lead over Bristol Rovers in second.
John Akinde put the Bees ahead from the penalty spot after Cards defender Joe McNerney was dismissed for a professional foul. And the lead was doubled after the break when Joey Jones put past his own goalkeeper.
However, substitute Yemi Odubade finished well after bustling his way through to half the deficit and set up a nervy finish.
