Southend United midfield Conor Clifford has extended his loan spell at Barnet until the end of the season, as expected.
The 23-year-old has already made five appearances for The Bees, scoring a stunning goal in the defeat against Grimsby Town.
Clifford, who began his professional career with Premier League giants Chelsea, was expected to remain at The Hive for the duration of the season after Southend boss Phil Brown revealed a deal had been agreed.
Players can spend a maximum of 93 days on an emergency loan deal and Clifford will had used 33 days when his loan expired after Saturday's defeat by Forest Green Rovers.
The Conference play-off final is scheduled for Sunday, May 17, which is 100 days from now and as a result, Clifford would not be eligible.
However, the Dubliner would be available for any potential semi-finals as they conclude on May 3, by which time he will have spent 86 days with The Bees.
