Barnet could be without Northampton Town loanee Chris Hackett until the end of the season, Martin Allen has confirmed.
The 32-year-old came off before Luke Gambin halved the deficit at the Crown Ground with 11 minutes remaining.
Allen had made all three of his substitutions by that stage, leaving the Bees a man light as they chased the game.
Asked afterwards about the condition of the winger, Allen said: “He took a serious one – there’s no doubt about that.
“It was three feet in front of me and I saw it with my own clear eyes. The lad made a great tackle but, God bless him, he’s followed through and he’s hurt him.
“I don’t know how long he’s going to be out. He’s probably going to be out for the season and it’s a real blow.
“It did galvanise us,” added Allen. “Sometimes mentally it does affect the other team. We went forward, they sat back and, God bless, happy days.”
