Barnet clinched their third away win in League Two in style by beating Newport County 3-0 at Rodney Parade on Tuesday night despite Martin Allen's absence.

Andy Yiadom got the opener, his fifth of the season, when he slotted home following dogged work from Alie Sesay down the left after just nine minutes.

The Bees were then awarded a penalty after John Akinde was tripped in the penalty area.

His nonchalant effort was well saved by Joe Day. However, the ball ran loose and Mark Randall was on hand to ram home the second and his first for Barnet.

And it was 3-0 after 69 minutes when Akinde flicked a deft header home from Luke Gambin's left-wing cross.
